Data Deletion Instructions

TruPass respects your right to delete your personal data. This page explains how to request the deletion of your account, your messaging data, and any data we received through Meta Platform integrations (Facebook Login or WhatsApp Business Cloud API).
Request deletion in one email
Email privacy@gettrupass.com from the address on your account. We confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
โ Send deletion request โ1. Self-Service Deletion (Account Holders)
If you have a TruPass account, you can request deletion as follows:

Sign in to your TruPass dashboard
Go to gettrupass.com/login and sign in with the account you want to delete. -

Disconnect any Meta-linked services
In Settings โ Integrations, disconnect WhatsApp Business and any Facebook Login association. This revokes the tokens stored in our system. -

Email the deletion request
Email privacy@gettrupass.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line Data deletion request. Include the phone numbers or business IDs associated with your integrations so we can locate every related record. -

We confirm and delete
We acknowledge receipt within 2 business days, verify your identity, then delete the data from active systems within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 90 days.
2. Patient Data (Invited by a Clinic)
If you are a patient whose record was uploaded to TruPass by a clinic, the clinic is the controller of your data. Please contact the clinic directly to request deletion. If you cannot reach the clinic, email privacy@gettrupass.com and we will route your request to the clinic and follow up.
3. Meta Platform Data (Facebook Login / WhatsApp)
When you use Facebook Login or WhatsApp Business with TruPass, we receive only the data needed to operate the integration: account/business IDs, phone-number IDs, the messages exchanged in the connected conversation, and delivery status.
- Disconnecting the integration in your TruPass dashboard immediately revokes access tokens stored in our systems.
- All Meta Platform data we hold for the disconnected integration is deleted from active systems within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 90 days.
- You can also revoke TruPass directly from your Facebook account at Settings โ Business Integrations.
4. What Gets Deleted
- Account profile (name, email, phone, role) and authentication credentials.
- Messaging integration tokens, mapped phone-number IDs, and stored conversation history routed through TruPass.
- Uploaded documents, medical forms, treatment plans, photos, and consent records associated with the account.
5. Data We May Retain
We may retain a minimal set of records โ billing history, security logs, and anonymized aggregate analytics โ where required by law (for example, accounting and anti-fraud obligations). These records do not contain Meta Platform data and are kept for the legally mandated period only.
6. For Meta App Reviewers
This URL โ https://gettrupass.com/data-deletion โ is the public Data Deletion Instructions URL declared in our Meta App configuration. Programmatic deletion callback requests can also be sent to privacy@gettrupass.com with the user identifier; we respond with a confirmation code and a status URL within 2 business days.
